Cosmotic

Beautiful irresistible flow like liquid you can't miss me, I.. vaporize sensitize brighten horizons hypnotize... Cosmic seismic systematic effervescent relative and relevant... Timeless shapeless traveling on waves to galaxies and nebula reaching the heights of Mt. Zion... Where I find my rest.

If I Could Fly, I Would Be A Ball of Light

Follow the trails of tails of light circling and winding, twining, looping, jumping and humping making colors without names, sounds without waves, heat without blisters illuminating, cooling, heating, inciting riots of inexplicable, inestimable, frivolitious, mischievous, and pure joy to cause an explosion of contagious, uproarious and volatile happiness.

Along My Country Road

I travel along a country road covered with sand
The wind is still
My fingers begin to tingle and my pace quickens
The air around me is thick
I taste the air on my tongue
The electricity in the air gives me chills
and then I think of you.

The Heart of Camellia

Ignacio

The fire billows from within.

No way to explain the state of mind I’m in.

Gotta let it go.

It wants to be free.

Belly fire, it’s hot

It’s gonna consume me

If I don’t let it go….

So that it can glow

Let the Ignacio flow

Be a blaze, ignite the path-

Let it light the path of the dreams that I once had.

Lord bless the child who never cried for the past.

Last night I felt the hot breeze.

It leapt from my tongue and out my nose.

Why do I hold it so?

One more second and everyone will see what I mean.

They will know no doubt cause yo baby bout to scream!

Lavender: Words written for my grandmother

Lavender

Soft words of greeting

Summer gardens

Garden snakes

Houses of grand trinkets

Ironing boards

Cauliflower

Clam chowder

Eating dirt in your front bed of flowers

Large canisters of rice, sugar and flower

Your kitchen table was red

“Goddammit I bet I’ll whoop yo ass!”

Walnuts in bowls

Metal nut crackers

The most interesting living room with encyclopedias

Corn stalks taller than my uncle

Marijuana plants sprinkled in

The best smile with the best lips that spoke the word Pootsack

Buttons

Yarn

Cooking

Baking

Severe words for foolishness

Your glasses

How you would neatly fold paper

Shopping for deli meat

The smell of lavender

I will remember all of these things of you.

I will not remember the things that brought you pain.

You will be lavender to me.

My Feet Walk on a Path That Is Sweet

My feet walk on a path that is sweet

My toes tickle as the water trickles between them

My feet walk on a path that is sweet

My legs beg for the spring and leap, the hop and step

My feet walk on a path that is sweet

My whole body gladly welcomes the freedom of uncovering

My feet walk on a path that is sweet

My arms, shoulders and hands grasp for the golden band outlining the sky

My feet walk on a path that is sweet

The delicate white petals brush my face and I smile

As my feet walk on a path that is sweet
